U.S. bans Armenian cheese import

PanARMENIAN.Net - The U.S. Food and Drug Administration banned the import of Lori Cheese produced by AMM LLC located in Gyumri. The product was found to be violative due to the presence of Coli typical bacterium.

Earlier ( December 21, 2011), the product of Yerevan-based Duster Melanya Llc was banned, with E-coli bacterium found in the cheese.

The list of the items mentioned in the Import Alert list issued by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration contains 100 products from 28 countries.
