Willem Dafoe to return for Pixar's Oscar-winning “Finding Nemo” sequelOctober 8, 2013 - 14:39 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Willem Dafoe has confirmed that he will return to voice Moorish idol Gill in Pixar's Finding Nemo sequel, Digital Spy said. The Spider-Man actor, who is voicing a character in this week's new video game release Beyond: Two Souls, described the Andrew Stanton follow-up Finding Dory as "even better than the first". "I've already started," Dafoe told Total Film. "It's even better than the first. It's fantastic. It's good to say I think it's going to be better than the first; that's good advertising!" He continued: "It's difficult to repeat a success and so many years afterwards, but it's really cool. I've done one session so far and I just am going to have such a good time." Finding Dory will feature the voices of Ellen DeGeneres, Albert Brooks, Diane Keaton, Eugene Levy and Ty Burrell. Disney recently pushed the film's release date back to June 17, 2016. According to NME, the sequel is set about a year after the original film and Nemo, Marlin and the Tank Gang are all set to return alongside a shoal of new characters. Released in May 2003, Finding Nemo grossed over $878 million (£562 million) at the box office worldwide and won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature. Plans for a sequel first emerged last summer (2012). Related links: Top stories Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out.
