Armenia posts decrease in Q3 business activity indexNovember 5, 2013 - 19:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s business activity index dropped 0,8 in Q3, 2013 as compared to last quarter to total 55,6%. The highest activity index, 57,8% (0,6% decrease against Q2) was posted in the industrial sector; the lowest activity index - 53,3% (2,6 % decrease) - was reported in construction sector. Business environment sector posted a 54,2% index in Q2, 2013, increasing by 0,4 pct against the previous quarter. The highest activity index, 56,8% with a 1,1 pct increase was reported in the industry sector. The construction and services sectors indices grew to reach 52,3 and 54,7% respectively. The consumer confidence index dropped by 1,1 pct to total 41,9%, the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) press service reported.
