Sargsyan Briefed to Semneby on Armenia's Position on Karabakh Issue

PanARMENIAN.Net - Secretary of the Security Council at the RA President, Armenian Defense Minister Serge Sargsyan met with European Union Envoy for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby, RA Defense Minister's Spokesman, col. Seyran Shahsuvaryan told PanARMENIAN.Net German Ambassador to Armenia Heike Renate Peitsch was also present at the meeting. Peter Semneby voiced assurance that the Armenia-EU relations will enter a new stage of development during the period of his office. When touching upon the Nagorno Karabakh settlement the parties noted the inadmissibility of resumption of hostilities. Serge Sargsyan briefed to Mr. Semneby on Armenia's basic principles on the issue and underscored that the conflict should resolved peacefully. The parties also exchanged views on the Armenia-EU Action Plan within the European Neighborhood Policy.
