Google updates mobile personal assistantNovember 14, 2013 - 14:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Google has updated its mobile personal assistant, Google Now, with several interesting updates, including news topics, website updates, as well as movie and TV recommendations, Mashable reports. The News topic card somewhat resembles the late Google Reader, bringing articles on topics of interest, while the Website update card brings all the updates from a particular website. And in contrast with most Google Now cards, which focus on bringing useful info while the user is away from home, the What to watch card brings Movie and TV recommendations for the times the user is staying in. Other new features include real-time traffic updates from Waze and real time scores for rugby teams. Users can also check when their packages are ready for in-store pickup and set repeat reminders. The update is available now on Google Play as part of the Google Search app. Related links: Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
