"Twilight" star joins "Miss Bala" helmer's coming of age filmNovember 18, 2013 - 12:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Twilight Saga's Dakota Fanning has joined Miss Bala director Gerardo Naranjo's latest film, Digital Spy said. The venture marks Naranjo's first English language feature. In the untitled film, Fanning will play a roadie by the name of Viena, who hits the road on a soul searching journey with a punk band, Deadline reports. The storyline will see Fanning's character travelling through America in the 1980s. Verisimilitude's Alex Orlovsky and Hunter Gray are set to produce and co-finance through their banner. Production is slated to begin filming in February, following Fanning's recent work on the 2014 movie Effie Gray in which she plays the title role.
