Pawel Pawlikowski’s “Ida” wins Poland’s Camerimage Fest

PanARMENIAN.Net - Pawel Pawlikowski’s “Ida” has won the Golden Frog at Camerimage, the international film festival of the art of cinematography. The pic’s cinematographers were Lukasz Zal and Ryszard Lenczewski, Variety said.

The fest, which takes place in Bydgoszcz, Poland, gave its Silver Frog to Amat Escalante’s “Heli,” whose cinematographer was Lorenzo Hagerman.

The Bronze Frog winner was Ethan and Joel Coen’s “Inside Llewyn Davis,” with cinematography by Bruno Delbonnel.

The top Polish Film was Bodo Kox’s “The Girl from the Wardrobe,” whose d.o.p. was Arkadiusz Tomiak.

The Golden Tadpole for a student film went to “Such a Landscape,” with cinematography by Zuzanna Pyda, and direction by Jagoda Szelc.
