Syrian state news agency Sana said a suicide bomber had blown himself up in al-Jisr al-Abyad district, causing deaths and injuries. The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said two people had been killed in the attack. The activist network said the target of the explosion appeared to be a government building.
