GDCA approves Zvartnots airport old terminal demolition plan![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - General Department of Civil Aviation (GDCA) gave a positive assessment of a master plan submitted by the concessioner - Armenia International Airports CJSC – for demolition of the old terminal of Zvartnots airport. Following the assessment, a meeting was convened at the government of Armenia, with interested state bodies present. In this context, the chair of the Public Council's urban planning sub-committee Grigor Azizyan expressed surprise that the “master plan” was never discussed. “Looks like the demolition of the old terminal had already been decided on, with the statement made just now,” he said, adding that no sums whatsoever were invested during the whole period of the old terminal’s operation.
