Huawei smartwatch image leaks ahead of MWC 2014February 22, 2014 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Huawei is apparently readying a smartwatch device to showcase at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) next week. An official from the company has posted an image of a wearable product on Weibo, revealing a device bearing a striking resemblance to the LG Lifeband Touch. It is yet to be confirmed whether the mystery device will be touted as a competitor to the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Gear, or marketed as a fitness band. Huawei has already confirmed plans to launch new tablets and a smartphone at MWC, using Apple's Siri to tease the products in a promotional video released online. The photo leak supports rumours that the Chinese manufacturer is planning to showcase wearable technology at the Barcelona event. Huawei will holds its MWC press conference on February 23, one day before the main event gets under way.
