Toshiba refreshes HD television range for 2014March 12, 2014 - 18:24 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Toshiba has refreshed its HD television range for 2014 with the launch of new additions to four of its product ranges, according to Digital Spy. The 1080p 7 Series Toshiba L74, coming in 42-inch, 47-inch and 55-inch variants in May, sits at the top of the spectrum. Powered by dual core X2 processor with CEVO technology, the L74 features a full array LED backlight as well as local dimming, and comes with a range of connected services built in. The 6 Series L64 sits below the L74 in Toshiba's range, and will be available in 42-inch and 47-inch variants. These sets retain the full array LED backlight, local dimming and dual-core processor of the high-end models, but do not offer the same picture quality due to the absence of CEVO technology. Due to arrive in 40-inch and 48-inch size variants, the 5 Series L54 serves as a mid-range offering, utilising Edge LED rather than a full LED array and running off a lesser processor. The Toshiba L3 (3 Series) is the budget LCD option, with screen sizes ranging from 24 inches to 48 inches, coming with the usual slate of connected TV services.
