Strongly felt earthquake rolls across Los Angeles

PanARMENIAN.Net - A strongly felt earthquake has rolled across Los Angeles, the Associated Press reports.

The U.S. Geological Survey says the preliminary magnitude was magnitude 4.7 and was centered 5 miles north-northwest of the city's Westwood neighborhood.

The 6:25 am Monday, March 17, quake occurred at a depth of about 5 miles.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has received no immediate reports of damage.
