Levi Miller joins stellar cast of "Pan" to play Peter PanMarch 19, 2014 - 12:13 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - After a long search to find Peter Pan for its origins tale “Pan,” Warner Bros. has tapped newcomer Levi Miller to play the title role, Variety said. He joins Hugh Jackman, who will play the pirate Blackbeard; Garrett Hedlund, who has been tapped to play Hook; and Rooney Mara, who is in talks to play Tiger Lily. Joe Wright will direct. Jason Fuchs penned the script with Greg Berlanti, Paul Webster and Sarah Schechter producing. Courtenay Valenti is overseeing for the studio. The film will be a new take on the classic story. It is set during WWII and follows an orphan who is kidnapped by pirates and brought to Neverland, where he discovers he’s destined to save the land from the pirate Blackbeard. The world being created is international — and with a very different title character than previously imagined. Wright was looking for a new discovery for the role of Pan, conducting an extensive casting search in the UK with open calls, and Miller seems to fit the bill — his biggest credit to date is an episode of “Terra Nova.” Related links: Top stories Ara Aivazian said Azerbaijan continues the traditions of Turkey after seizing territories and forced Armenians out.
