Apple to launch redesigned MacBook Air: reportMarch 25, 2014 - 11:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Apple is reportedly planning to launch a redesigned version of its MacBook Air, with a slimmer form factor and overhauled trackpad, according to Digital Spy. Details of the new 12-inch laptop appeared on the Weiphone forums (via MacRumours), with the poster claiming that it will feature a buttonless trackpad. The leak also suggests that the new MacBook Air will not include a fan, indicating that the machine could rely on natural airflow for cooling. KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously brought word that a new 12-inch MacBook Air was in the works, with the computer offering the portability of the 11-inch model coupled with the Retina display previously introduced to the Pro line. The latest report also claims that the long-rumoured iWatch exists in prototype form, but is not likely to be unveiled in the near future. Apple will reportedly announce the new MacBook Air imminently, before updating its MacBook Pro line in September.
