Armenian MP urges PACE to grant Artsakh partner for democracy statusApril 9, 2014 - 16:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian MP Naira Zohrabyan raised the issue of granting the Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic a partner for democracy status at the plenary sitting of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. According to the MP, Karabakh's not having the status while the unrecognized state of Palestine was granted one is unacceptable. She also demanded to allow participation of the NKR parliamentarians in the issues related to Artsakh, noting that the rights of Karabakh citizens must not be violated because ot the unsettled conflict, Tert.am reported.
