“True Detective” star joins Mel Gibson in “Blood Father” thriller April 25, 2014 - 10:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - “True Detective” actress Erin Moriarty is set to co-star with Mel Gibson in the thriller “Blood Father”, Variety said. Jean-Francois Richet is helming with “The Town” scribe Peter Craig penning the script. In the vein of “Taken,” the story follows an ex-con who reunites with his estranged wayward 16-year old daughter to protect her from drug dealers who are trying to kill her. Pic will be produced by Why Not Productions and Chris Briggs. Production begins next month in New Mexico.
