“Somebody Loves You” Armenian helmer’s short at Cannes![]() ![]() PanARMENIAN.Net - The St. Petersburg-based Armenian helmer Evelina Barseghyan’s Somebody Loves You will be screened at Cannes Short Film Corner’s Out of Competition program. The short film starring newcomers Arevik Gevorgyan and Karlos Muradyan follows a 24 years old villager girl, Ani, who strives to find her own way in life, challenging stagnant rural morality. Organized by the Festival de Cannes, the Short Film Corner is the essential rendez-vous for filmmakers.
