Armenian MFA Spokesperson Appointed Envoy to FranceMay 11, 2006 - 14:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Armenia Hamlet Gasparyan is appointed Envoy to France, where he will take part in the Year of Armenia in France. Gasparyan has held the office of the MFA Spokesperson since autumn 2003. In 2005 he simultaneously coordinated the work of organizing the Days of Italy in Armenia. His duties will temporarily be performed by head of the Press Relations and Information Management Department Vladimir Karapetyan. According to the MFA Press Service, in 1999-2002 Gasparyan was in France as Advisor at the Armenian Embassy. By a decree of the President in 2005 Hamlet Gasparyan was conferred the rank of Extraordinary Envoy and Plenipotentiary Minister.
