Cannes Fest announces Un Certain Regard, Golden Camera JuriesMay 12, 2014 - 09:53 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Organizers on Sunday, May 11 unveiled the jury members for the Un Certain Regard sidebar of the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Camera award, The Hollywood Reporter said. Argentinian director-writer-producer Pablo Trapero will head up the Un Certain Regard jury. The other members of the jury are Peter Becker, president of The Criterion Collection, and Norwegian-Swedish actress Maria Bonnevie, French actress Geraldine Pailhas and Senegalese director-writer-producer Moussa Toure. The Un Certain Regard section includes 20 films, with the opening film, Party Girl by Marie Amachoukeli, Claire Burger and Samuel Theis, screening on Thursday. Last year, the jury headed by Danish director Thomas Vinterberg awarded the Prize Un Certain Regard to Rithy Panh's The Missing Picture, with the directing honor going to Alain Guiraudie for The Stranger by the Lake. Also on Sunday, Cannes announced its Golden Camera jury, led by actress and director Nicole Garcia.
