Zach Braff's comedy drama “Wish I Was Here” unveils new trailer (video) May 20, 2014 - 09:45 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The first full trailer for Zach Braff's directing follow-up to 2004's smash hit “Garden State” hit the web, TheWrap said. The crowdfunded film's trailer opens with a bit of levity. Braff's character, family man Aidan Bloom, has to add to the Swear Jar, which he says is good for the kids’ college fund. “The swear jar is all the money we have to send you to college, so you should be happy that I curse,” he says. What follows is an always hilarious small child's attempt at swearing. But then Aidan gets hit with “so much bad news all at once” — an ailing father, an uncooperative brother and having to home-school his two kids. And to top things off, his rabbi tells him God doesn't care about his pursuit of happiness. The rest of the trailer sets up a film in which Braff's character must struggle to hold all the parts of his family together and allow himself to accept a little rescuing himself. Kate Hudson, Mandy Patinkin, Josh Gad, Joey King, Pierce Gagnon, Donald Faison, Ashley Greene, Jim Parsons, and Michael Weston co-star.
