The 45-year-old actor took to Instagram to post a picture of himself in the make-up chair on the set of the new movie. Writing "Blackbeard is born. #PAN", the Les Misérables and Wolverine actor showed himself also sporting an extensive beard and moustache to play the character. Pan, a Peter Pan origin story, will be set during World War II. An orphan boy is kidnapped and taken to a place known as Neverland, where pirates rule the high seas. In April, it was confirmed that Amanda Seyfried had joined the cast of the Warner Bros Studios live-action adaptation. Newcomer Levi Miller has been cast as Peter Pan, while Garrett Hedlund will play Hook and Rooney Mara is portraying Tiger Lily. Pan will be released in cinemas on July 26, 2015.
