FiftyThree rolls out Surface Pressure feature for Paper iPad appJune 18, 2014 - 13:09 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - FiftyThree has announced a new feature for its Pencil stylus for the Paper iPad app, called Surface Pressure, Digital Spy said. The update, which will arrive in the autumn alongside iOS 8, allows you to use the accessory at any angle to draw and shade more effectively. "You can do a lot with the right tool. Pencil's tapered tip was inspired by the expressive richness of real pencil points, which allow creators to change the character of the line simply with the angle of the tip," said the firm in a statement. "Now with Surface Pressure you'll be able to control many aspects of the lines you create based on how much of Pencil's tip or eraser surface is in contact with the iPad." The Surface Pressure update will be rolled out automatically following the release of iOS 8, and users will not have to adjust their settings to take advantage of it. FiftyThree's Pencil is available in the U.S. and Canada at the company's online store and Amazon, priced at $59.95 for the Graphite version and $74.95 for the Walnut edition.
