The clip sees a pair of frantic parents searching for their young daughter Cassandra, after she goes missing from her father's car. Cassandra's mother soon turns against her husband, as the case develops through a number of complex twists. The Captive stars Ryan Reynolds as the child's father, with Rosario Dawson and Scott Speedman also starring as detectives investigating her disappearance. The film is directed by Atom Egoyan and has already competed at the Cannes Film Festival. It was reported that audience members booed the film after its screening.
