According to representative of the Russian Ministry of Transport Svetlana Kryshtanovskaya, the second record box, which was found under a thick layer of silt, was lying at a distance of some 16 meters from the first one and its signal was weaker. Presently the record box is on the Navigator vessel. The RF Ministry of Transport said its state is very poor, since it was badly damaged by the blow and silt. Later the record box will be conveyed to the International Aviation Committee for decoding.
