Azeris shell Armenian villages, retreat with wounded

PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the Armenian border villages of Nerkin Karmaghbyur, Movses and Aygepar in Tavusg province overnight.

Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said the Armenian side reported no casualties or injuries, while some of the attackers were wounded. “The Armenian army did not retaliate until aimed fire started,” he said, according to Tert.am

Hovhannisyan explained the frequent attacks by the harvest period in Armenian villages.
