Another Azeri cross-border attack leaves Armenian soldier killed

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Azerbaijani armed forces attempted to cross the contact line with Nagorno Karabakh army in the northeast direction overnight, killing one Armenian soldier, the NKR defense army press office reported.

The attack was immediately rebuffed, with the rivals suffering losses and leaving the armament and equipment at the site.

The NKR army said at least 3 Azeris were killed and 7 wounded.

Armenian serviceman Zorik Gevorkyan, 25, was posthumously honored with an order For Courage by Artsakh President Bako Sahakyan.

Sabotage attempts by the Azeri forces were also prevented at other sectors of the contact line. No casualties from the Armenian side were reported. The information about Azerbaijani losses is being clarified.
