Families from Armenian border villages get new homes after Azeri shelling

PanARMENIAN.Net - Two families from Aygepar border village in Tavush province of Armenia, whose houses were burnt after the Azerbaijani armed forces shelled the settlement, already have a new place to live.

On Aug 10 morning, the Azeri forces violated the ceasefire in several directions and shelled the villages of Aygepar, Vazashen and some other settlements. As a result two houses got burnt. After retaliatory measures, the fire was stopped, Armenian Defense Ministry spokesman Artsrun Hovhannisyan said in a Facebook post.

As the head of the village administration, Andranik Aydinyan said, new 4-room apartments were provided following the visit of provincial governor Hovik Abovyan.

“The damage was assessed and new dwelling provided,” Aydinyan said, according to Panorama.am.
