"Fifty Shades of Grey" star eyed to play King Arthur in Guy Ritchie's film

PanARMENIAN.Net - Rumor has it, Guy Ritchie wants Jamie Dornan to play the lead role in his upcoming period movie "Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur". "Jamie is hot property in Hollywood. Guy was completely blown away when he met him and wanted to offer the part immediately," a source said, according to AceShowbiz.

The "Fifty Shades of Grey" actor is reportedly eyed to play King Arthur in the film. "Jamie is keen on the role, too, and his U.S. agents are keen to work out a deal where he'll be able to do both franchises. They have to convince Universal to allow Jamie to make the film with Warner Brothers, which isn't looking promising," the source claimed.

Dornan plays kinky billionaire Christian Grey opposite Dakota Johnson in the adaptation of E.L. James' BDSM romantic novel. The flick is due February 13, 2015 in the States. He is expected to reprise his role should any sequel(s) be made.

The Arthurian movie Ritchie is developing will reportedly also kick off a new franchise for a six-movie series. Idris Elba is in talks to play a right-hand man to Arthur's father who takes it upon himself to train the young warrior for battle as he learns his true destiny.
