Russian TV channel developing legendary Armenian footballer docAugust 20, 2014 - 17:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Rossiya 2 Russian TV channel is developing a documentary about legendary Armenian football player Khoren Hovhannisyan. Creation of a movie, to be timed to the footballer's 60th birthday, was initiated by Russian businessman Artur Soghoyan. Expected be completed in late September, the film will be screened on Rossiya 2 and Public Television of Armenia in March 2015. Also, a football match between the USSR team and veteran global football stars will be organized, with Argentine legend Diego Maradona having agreed to travel to Armenia for the occasion. Khoren Hovhannisyan will be honored on his birthday, December 10, at a ceremony to be held at Moscow cinema which will further host the documentary premiere, Tert.am reported.
