HTC Desire 820 handset with serious selfie capabilities unveiledSeptember 4, 2014 - 13:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - HTC has lifted the lid on a brand new super colourful handset, called the Desire 820, Digital Spy said. Featuring what HTC is calling a Double Shot construction technique, the phone features a single unibody design with multiple colours fused into one solid piece. The handset is also slim and light, at 7.74mm and weighing 155g. Also included with the device is a return of the Dot View case, which featured on the HTC One M8. The real talking point of the device however is the big 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The highest resolution of just about any smartphone currently available, HTC has packed a 'live make-up' function into the phone that will beautify users straight in camera. On the rear of the device is a f.2.2 13-megapixel camera unit, while inside HTC has crammed a hugely powerful 64-bit octo-core processor from Qualcomm. The first time the chip has been used anywhere in a mobile device, it should make for the fastest Android experience available. Alongside the top end internal specifications, users are also treated to a big 5.5-inch HD display, although we are waiting on HTC to confirm if it's full HD or not. The Desire 820 will be going on sale from September this year. Photo: HTC Top stories Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
