AMA to host “Hundred Years Wandering” exhibition

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Museum of America holds Sunday, Sept 14, an opening reception for “Hundred Years Wandering,” an exhibition of new and recent paintings by artist George Berberian, on view through Nov 9, the Armenian Weekly reports.

George Berberian’s artwork has been exhibited internationally in Germany, England, France, Russia, Armenia, Estonia, Finland, and Lithuania. Currently based in Jamaica Plain, Mass., Berberian recently exhibited artwork in several Boston venues, including the Boston Exhibition Center and Massachusetts Cultural Council on Arts Exhibition in Jamaica Plain. Berberian has worked in fine arts education as a lecturer in London and organized annual students’ exhibitions such as “Art Alive” and the Koestler competition. Berberian is a member of the London-based “Artists in Exile” group.

The opening reception will be will be accompanied by musical interpretations of jazz standards by vocalist Leva Berberian, accompanied by guitarist Brad Hogg.
