Matthew McConaughey in Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” sci-fi poster

The Oscar-winning movie star stands alone in a spacesuit on what appears to be a strange world. He's caught in the middle of a snowstorm.

It's a bit of a different look for the upcoming Christopher Nolan film, which tells the story of a group of explorers who leave their planet (and families) behind to explore a nearby wormhole. Until now, however, most stills and snippets have shown the characters on Earth or in a spaceship, not some far-off world.

“Interstellar,” which also stars Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine, was co-written by Christopher and Jonathan Nolan.
