The officials welcomed friendly relations between the two neighboring countries and stressed the significance of implementing joint projects and expanding cooperation. The upcoming mutual visits as well as preparations for the Tehran-hosted Armenian-Iranian Intergovernmental Committee session were on the discussion agenda. The officials discussed negotiations on Iran’s nuclear program, also exchanging views on regional and international issues, Foreign Ministry press service said.
