Armenia, France FMs talk upcoming Sargsyan-Aliyev meeting in Paris

PanARMENIAN.Net - Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his French counterpart Laurent Fabius Oct 7 during a working visit to Paris.

The Nagorno Karabakh peace process was on the agenda of the discussion. In this context, the Armenian official hailed the mediatory efforts of France and other OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs in the peaceful settlement of the conflict.

The parties also touched upon preparations for the Paris meeting of the leaders of Armenia and Azerbaijan, initiated by the President of France and scheduled at the end of October.

Nalbandian further reaffirmed Armenia’s adherence to the Minsk Group efforts.

The Foreign Ministers expressed satisfaction over the high level of bilateral ties, also discussing a number of pressing international and regional issues.
