Mark Wahlberg’s “Gambler” unveils 1st red-band trailer (video) October 23, 2014 - 12:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Mark Wahlberg has a gambling problem, and it's going to turn into a much bigger problem than he anticipated, in the first red band trailer released for “The Gambler”. According to TheWrap, the Rupert Wyatt-directed film, a remake of the 1974 film of the same name, sees Wahlberg as a professor who's hiding an increasingly out of control gambling addiction from his mom (Jessica Lange) and his girlfriend (Brie Larson), not to mention his students and myriad other people a college professor has to answer to. He also has to answer to a bald John Goodman as a particularly intimidating loan shark, who dispenses some wisdom in the form of “Fuck you.” As in, if you have enough money, you can say that to anyone who asks you for anything. “The Gambler” was recently set for a Dec. 19 release and will have its world premiere at the AFI Film Festival in November.
