"Nightcrawler" earned $10,909,000 while "Ouija" ended up with a $10,900,240 projected total, according to AceShowbiz. "This is a photo-finish, a dead heat, this rarely happens," says Paul Dergarabedian, box office analyst for Rentrak. "We'll see how this all shakes out. We're taking about a difference of less than $10,000 here, which is pretty remarkable." The final numbers will be revealed on Monday, November 3. It is a huge win for "Nightcrawler" which was made on an $8.5 million budget. "We are excited about it," CMO of Open Road Films, Jason Cassidy, told EW.
