Armenian-Egyptian Business Forum to Be Held in Alexandria in 2007

PanARMENIAN.Net - An Armenian-Egyptian busienss forum will be held in Alexandria in 2007. The agreement on that was reached during a meeting of Armenian Ambassador to Egypt Ruben Karapetyan with Chair of the Union of Entrepreneurs of Alexandria (UEA) Mohammad Ragabi.



During the meeting an agreement was reached on concluding a contract with the Union of Entrepreneurs of Armenia. The UEA accepted the proposal of Karapetyan to organize a visit of an Armenian delegation to Alexandria. The Higher Institute of Tourism and Hotels of Alexandria has decided to establish 5 scholarships for Armenian students.



In his turn the Armenian Ambassador noted that pharmaceutics, information technologies, agriculture, tourism, science and education are priority spheres of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.



Within the framework of the visit Mr. Karapetyan also met with Alexandria Governor, visited Farko pharmaceutical company, which is the largest in Egypt, and Zakhran factory for production of electric facilities, reports the Armenian MFA Press Service.
