J.K. Rowling to release 12 new "Harry Potter" short storiesDecember 6, 2014 - 12:52 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - J.K. Rowling is going to drop some new "Harry Potter" short stories for fans this month. On Friday, December 5, she sent out a notice on Facebook, saying she would release 12 short stories from Potter starting from December 12 at 1 P.M. GMT or 8 A.M. ET. as a part of the upcoming holiday celebration on Pottermore website, according to AceShowbiz. They will feature "wonderful writing by J.K. Rowling in Moments from Half-Blood Prince, shiny gold Galleons and even a new potion or two." Among the stories, she will also talk about Draco Malfoy, Harry's enemy at school. Earlier this year, Rowling penned a story about Dolores Umbridge, a villainous character who teaches Defence Against the Dark Arts for Halloween. She was played by Imelda Staunton in "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix". Later, Rowling shared that the character was inspired by her real-life teacher whom she "disliked intensely on sight." Rowling said she borrowed some of the teacher's characteristics for Umbridge, but she "was NOT 'the real Dolores Umbridge.' She did not look like a toad, she was never sadistic or vicious to me or anyone else, and I never heard her express a single view in common with Umbridge."
