PanARMENIAN.Net - Coldplay premiered the full version of "Miracles" on Thursday, December 11. That is a new song the British band has recorded for the soundtrack of Angelina Jolie-directed movie "Unbroken," AceShowbiz said.

"Miracles" is a beautiful and uplifting piano-driven tune. It opens with vocalist Chris Martin singing, "From up above I heard/ The angels sing to me these words/ And sometimes, in your eyes/ I see the beauty in the world."

"Unbroken" follows the incredible life of Olympian and war hero Louis "Louie" Zamperini, played by Jack O'Connell, who survived in a raft for 47 days after a near-fatal plane crash in WWII. He and two other survivors were later caught by the Japanese Navy and sent to a prisoner-of-war camp. The movie is opening in U.S. cinemas this Christmas while its soundtrack is coming out on December 15 via Atlantic.

The new Coldplay song will be played when the credits are rolling. It's already a strong contender to be nominated for an Oscar at the 2015 ceremony.
