The band first teased a new album earlier this week, when they joined Instgram and posted a photo of a record labelled 'Side A - Lampshades On Fire' - which is now expected to be the band's new single. As Revolt reports, a representative from the band's label, Epic Records, has now confirmed that a new album from the band will be released early next year. The album will be the band's first since 2007's We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank. They've been teasing a follow-up for many years, and in 2011 Isaac Brock told fans that it was no coincidence he had named his new label Glacial Pace.
