Comedian Stephen Fry to host BAFTA Film AwardsDecember 12, 2014 - 14:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Stephen Fry will host his 10th BAFTA Film Awards in 2015, according to Digital Spy. The comedian and actor will preside over festivities at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden, London on Sunday, February 8. "Hosting the Film Awards has always been a highlight of my year," said Fry in a statement. "The opportunity to help the Academy promote filmmaking and encourage cinema-going means a lot to me. "I've met many heroes and had the honour of introducing many young talents that are now busy forging remarkable careers for themselves." Fry also quipped: "Seeing the photos from each year back, I can chart my bewildering changes in weight, too..." The EE BAFTA Film Awards will air exclusively on BBC One in the UK, as well as a number of countries around the globe. UK viewers will also be able to watch a red carpet pre-show on BBC Three, with further coverage provided online by BAFTA. Nominations will be announced on Friday, January 9 from BAFTA headquarters at 195 Piccadilly in London, with a live stream available on BAFTA's Facebook page from 7.35am UK time.
