  Azerbaijan repatriates family of Armenian defector December 12, 2014 - 17:18 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Azerbaijan handed over the family of defector Yeghishe Gevorgyan to Armenia, Azeri media said citing the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Hostages and Missing People. The family was repatriated through the mediation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) on Armenia-Azerbaijan border, representative of ICRC Yerevan office said. On Jan 10, 2010, Gevorgyan, who was escaping justice in Armenia, crossed the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at the Yeraskh-Nakhichevan road section with his wife and three children. Gevorgyan (born 1958) was convicted eight times in Armenia for robbery and involvement in a murder. On June 10, Azerbaijani President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev will leave for Turkey on a working visit. Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive.
