The Icelandic singer will perform two shows at Carnegie Hall and four at the City Center venue between March 7 and April 4 this year. Arca, one of the producers she has worked with on the album, will support the star on a few of the dates. Announcing the intimate performances on her Facebook page, Björk wrote: "new york, here are your vulnicura tour dates ! they are for real ! hope you enjoy them !" Tickets are available to the public from January 23. The Icelandic pop icon had been teasing a new release over the last few months and revealed the record's name and tracklisting in a handwritten note last week.
