Samsung rolls out Tizen-based NX500 compact system cameraFebruary 5, 2015 - 18:04 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Samsung has announced the NX500 compact system camera, a successor to 2013's NX300, Digital Spy reveals. The Tizen-based snapper features a 28-megapixel back-side illuminated sensor and offers 4K video-recording capabilities. Video footage can be shot at 30/25fps in the 3840 x 2160 resolution, as well as 24fps 4K at the wider 4096 x 2160 resolution. The camera packs the NX300's high-end specs into a more portable package, measuring in at 119.5 x 63.6 x 42.5mm. Its touch-enabled AMOLED screen flips forward to allow users to capture high-grade selfies, while WiFi and NFC connectivity helps them share the results. Samsung will release the NX500 in black, white and brown colour options next month, with price yet to be announced.
