Prince unveils surprise new single “What If”March 17, 2015 - 12:35 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Before playing the first date on his "Hit & Run" tour, Prince surprised his fans when he debuted a new single on Louisville, Kentucky radio station WFPK. Featuring his band 3RDEYEGIRL, the song is a cover of Christian singer/songwriter Nichole Nordeman's "What If", AceShowbiz reports. On his version, Prince is joined by the girl group's drummer Hannah Welton on vocals. They take turn singing the lyrics while being backed by feisty guitar riffs. Prince and 3RDEYEGIRL kicked off the "Hit & Run" tour on Saturday, March 14 in Louisville. The city was chosen as the first stop to honor Louisville native Welton. Other dates and venues are expected to be revealed shortly before the shows take place. The tour, first launched in the U.K. last year, comes in support of Prince's latest solo album "ART OFFICIAL AGE" as well as his collaborative LP with the ladies "PLECTRUMELECTRUM". Both projects arrived on the same day in 2014 and debuted in the top 10 of Billboard 200.
