HTC's next flagship smartphone "to support wireless charging"March 27, 2015 - 13:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - HTC's next flagship smartphone will allegedly support wireless charging, Digital Spy reveals. The feature has been embraced by rival manufacturers, including Samsung and Microsoft, but is yet to make it to HTC's One range. However, senior HTC executive Howard Lee has apparently told Taiwanese publication CTimes that the firm's next high-end handset will power up wirelessly. It is unclear whether Lee is referring to the unannounced HTC One M10 or another device, such as the rumoured HTC One M9+ phablet. Introducing wireless charging could force the company to alter the design of its One devices, as their all-metal form factor makes it more challenging to implement. HTC will release the standard model of the HTC One M9 in the UK on March 31, and you can find the best deals for the handset with our round-up.
