1st look at Shailene Woodley, Joseph Gordon-Levitt in “Snowden” bio

PanARMENIAN.Net - Oliver Stone is now filming “Snowden”, his biopic on NSA leaker Edward Snowden, in Washington, D.C., and has released the first photo featuring Shailene Woodley alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt, according to TheWrap.

Snowden, who has been granted political asylum in Russia, was an NSA contractor who leaked classified documents. The act prompted various factions within the media to either champion him as a whistleblower or label him a traitor. Before he made a name for himself, however, he was just another soldier serving his country.

Gordon-Levitt plays him in Stone’s film, while Woodley plays Snowden’s girlfriend, Lindsay Mills.

“Snowden” co-stars Nicolas Cage, Melissa Leo, Zachary Quinto, Tom Wilkinson, Rhys Ifans, Joely Richardson and Timothy Olyphant.

Open Road Films will release the film in the heart of Oscar season, on Dec. 25. See the new photo above.
