Keanu Reeves’ "John Wick" helmers eyed for DC Comics movieApril 8, 2015 - 12:40 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Chad Stahelski and David Leith reportedly have caught the attention of Warner Bros. with their low-budget movie "John Wick" which starred Keanu Reeves last year. The duo is courted to direct a feature film adaptation of DC Comics, AceShowbiz reports citing El Mayimbe. It's unclear what movie is offered to the pair, but there are a number of DC movies in works. "The Flash" starring Ezra Miller and "Aquaman" starring Jason Momoa are due in 2018. "Shazam" starring The Rock will arrive in 2019, while "Cyborg" starring Ray Fisher and "Green Lantern (2020)" will follow in 2020. In the meantime, WB is gearing up to release "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" on March 25, 2016 and entering production for "Suicide Squad" for an August 5, 2016 release. Rumor has it, "Suicide Squad" will take place between "Man of Steel" and "Batman v. Superman". A newest report suggests "Batman v Superman" will have a reference to Jason Todd, a second character who winds up taking up the identity of Robin. In the comics, the famous sidekick of Batman dies at the hands of The Joker but he is brought back as the anti-hero Red Hood. "Jason Todd's uniform is in a display case inside the Batcave!" Mayimbe wrote on Instagram. "In fact, The Joker & Harley Quinn are estranged in SUICIDE SQUAD because she feels guilt over the death of Todd. I'm also told that the RED HOOD is now a priority character for DC."
