Lana Del Rey, Mark Ronson cooperating on new albumApril 9, 2015 - 12:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Mark Ronson has admitted that he's been working with Lana Del Rey on her hotly-anticipated new album, Honeymoon, according to Gigwise. While her acclaimed second LP Ultraviolence was released just year, she's said that she's already working on a 'very different' follow-up expected to drop later this year. Now producer, chart-topper, songwriter and 'Uptown Funk' extraordinaire Mark Ronson has revealed his involvement with Interview Magazine. "I'm going to do some recording with Lana Del Rey today and tomorrow," he said. "I found this cool old studio out here [in Los Angeles]". The musician/producer added: "She has some songs and I said I had some demo ideas, and if they are any good, then maybe she'll like them and we'll go from there." Speaking to Billboard about the record, Del Rey said the tracks are more similar in tone to her breakthrough Born To Die than the gloomy seduction of Ultraviolence. "It's very different from the last one and similar to the first two, Born to Die and Paradise" she explains. "It's growing into something I really like. I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It's been good." Del Rey also said that she has covered Nina Simone’s 'Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood' for the album explaining “I like summarising the record with a jazz song. I’m having fun with my interpretation.” The singer also recently told the LA Times about how her work on the soundtrack for Tim Burton's Big Eyes had helped inspire the new album. "I'm working on a new record now, and I have this one song, 'Music to Watch Boys To'. The title lends itself to a visual of shadows of men passing by, this girl's eyes, her face. I can definitely see things". Top stories The creative crew of the Public TV had chosen 13-year-old Malena as a participant of this year's contest.
