Series co-creator Ryan Murphy has announced that the Emmy-winning actress is returning for the next installment of the FX anthology series, according to AceShowbiz. "Kathy Bates is running the Hotel. #AHSSeason5," so he tweeted on Wednesday, April 8, revealing her role in the fifth season. Bates joins Lady GaGa, Matthew Bomer, Cheyenne Jackson, Wes Bentley and Chloe Sevigny who were previously announced to star on "Hotel". Bates first joined "AHS" in its third season "Coven" and later returned for its fourth installment "Freak Show". She won an Emmy Award for her portrayal of Delphine LaLaurie on "Coven".
